BMW Indy shop in Chantilly

people in the Mid-Atlantic forum have mentioned a BMW Independant shop in Chantilly that caters to modded BMWs and does really good work and I can't remember the shop name or the contact person.

Any help?

I believe it's right across from IMA motorsports. IMA motorsports is also a top notch shop that caters to Euro cars mainly Porsches, but has done some work on my dads 335 such as the quaife dif install.

I should have been clearer, I'm looking for a good shop for maintenance items, not mods.

Pat, I think IMA is one of the shops I was thinking of.

Any other suggestions for good affordable shops for maintenance items (near Dulles) would be appreciated.

Function auto, Currys, Piper Motorsports (If you call them talk to Robbie and let them know I sent you), or if you want to do it on a Saturday I can reserve a spot for you at Sports Car Inc and you can DIY. Or if your interested in a couple BMW techs doing side work I can contact them for you as well.

Nicee.. Pat's got the hook up Definitely hitting you up if I need some work done!

Spots Car Inc looks pretty neat, btw. Reminds of the DIY Mechanics that got shut down in Sterling.

Sports car Inc is great. You pay $20 a month and then you are free to rent the lifts for $12.50 and hour, paint booth for $35 and hour, and alignment rack for $35 an hour. You can also mount and balance your own tires there.

I went with Funktion Auto as they had good prices, are close to my work and responded quicker than the others.

Pat, I will take you up your offer at Sports Car Inc as I have to do my BMW SSK....
