2006 325i won't start

Ok so my car died and I am jumping it right now and it wouldn't turn over. A warning triangle popped up with an exclamation mark outside. The charge or whatever it had left is now gone now I have nothing. Any ideas?

Auto or manual? If it's manual, try to bump start it but you still new a bit of battery to do that. Do you hear the starter relay click at all?
