? about pwdr coating exhaust tips
I wanted to powder coat my exhaust tips black on my 2013 335i x drive, I was wondering if they are removable??

why not just buy the OEM black chrome exhaust tips? They're about $100 all told.
Yes, they are removable. You'll need WD40 and a slide hammer. They use friction tabs with points inside so you'll need a quick jerk to break them loose.

Thanks PGT but I should of stated that I have the 335i m-sport, I don't like the dual tips on the sportline....I've never used a slide hammer before and I'm not sure what you mean by friction tabs.

check realoem.com to be sure but I think the tips are the same P/N. You can see the pointed tips inside that are what hold the exhaust finishers in place.

bmwpartpro.com p/n 18307610639 (need 2). Check realoem.com to make sure they're the same P/N for a 335.
