It means it's time for an inspection or in simple english car check up to see if everything is still in good condition and no worn out parts, that's what I remember that symbol meaning.

Mine did this too recently. Yellow lift by itself is supposed to mean either brake light out or fuel delivery issues. Any other problem will include a symbol on the dash with the yellow lift light. I don't have a break light out, and my symbol includes "800 miles" so I'm assuming its just giving me advance notice some inspection is coming due. Car is running great, I'm not going to stress over it.

Posted this in another similar thread but thought I would share an update here as well.
I also experienced the on again / off again yellow Car on Lift icon, and noticed it came on after the car had been sitting for at least a few hours, but not after restarting the car after being off for just a short time. So I was already thinking battery. Turns out the car was throwing multiple low voltage faults, and the battery was replaced. Also, I had a communication error with the VTG, so the VTG was replaced as well. Not sure whether this was related to the low voltage faults or not. One week since the repairs, and have not had the yellow Car on Lift icon come back on since. |

Same problem. I dont know how much your driving but when my car sits all weekend I have the lift warning on first start up Monday morning. Drive all week with no warning. Sit all weekend, warning again Monday morning. Someone on here said I dont drive enough or far enough. It's only 1.5 miles to my office and they said the car is actually powered up several minutes after shut off and it's draining my battery.
