335i coupe: Manual or Auto

About to buy a 335i coupe and as I'm out here in West Africa, there are non to test drive. For those owners out there, what do you all think? Manual or Automatic?
The only disadvantage of the manual here is that it will be a bitch to resell.

They're both very good. The choice is really a matter of personal preference. For the 335i, I would choose the automatic since there is more than ample power for a passenger car. In a 328i, I would choose the 6MT. For me, a manual transmission is more fun to drive in most situations, heavy traffic being the main exception. In Lagos, I think that might be an issue.

Take automatic with paddle shifters so you kind of have them both.

I have the STEP in my E92, though my E46 is manual. It's nice to be clutchless when in traffic in SoCal.

I don't like the fact that the paddle shifters rotate with the wheel. Makes it extremely difficult when you do really need to shift on a turn. I end up using the main shifter anyways.

The feel of the car is different. You really need to test-drive to see if you like it.

Why do you care? In your country, you will need an army to protect you and your Bimmer.

You may as well get a body guard and chauffeur to drive your Bimmer. In that case, get the Auto for a better ride.
