I would think not. There is a bulletin with ordering information for the 2008 model; it's available on bimmerfest. It mentions a few small things, but nothing like a change in induction systems.

No. Probably next year? The benefits of getting DI in North America is not significant for now because lean burn mode can not be used here due to fuel requirements. Also, DI would increase the cost of the engine. I don't think BMW will introduce them if the benefits doesn't offset the cost.
In the 335i, it was a different story. It's DI technology that enables BMW to introduce turbos to their engines again. |
