Different Specs European vs. NA 2007 - E93/E92?

Stupid question, maybe:
Being the there are some differences even between Canadian and US options on the E93/E92 vehicles, does anyone know if there are subtle or otherwise differences between "european" and "north american" vehicles?

of course there are differences. Plus, you can't just lump all European countries into "Europe", each country's got its own level of standard equipments

Take a look at www.bmw.de where you will find the German market cars. Most notable is the large number of engine choices for the 3 series, including numerous diesels. Lots of other differences, as noted by other posters. Some of these reflect technical requirements; others (like the diesel motors and cloth upholstery) reflect the market, or BMW's perception of it, at least.

i am not an expert, but the 08 335 cabrio (aug 27 production) is a euro spec car for south america.

very basic differences:
U.S. car 300 HP vs 306 european (i THINK U.S. version has 4 cats, european 2 cats)

my non sport (roads here too rough for low profile 18" wheels) has staggered size tires: front 225/45 R17, rear 255/40 R17wheels. also have the nicer IMHO mag style 188 versus non sport U.S. style 185.

in europe spec cars u can order many different options and option combos you cannot in the states (probably too many to mention). my example: i have the non sport BUT with sport seats and paddle shifters.

but if it makes u feel any better, a 335 cabrio outside of the U.S. costs anywhere from $35,000 to $150,000 more than the same car in the U.S. which is approx $55,000.

for example my cabrio cost $95,000 here ($40,000 more than in say NY city).
a read a guy in signapore payed $200,000 for his 335 cabrio.

isn't america great??
