Bmw's in video games
Not sure how many of you guys are into pc/console video games but I just noticed the car list for Gran Turismo 5 and the 07 330 and 335 are listed. I always thought it was kool to see a car you actually own in a video game.

Yeah, on GT4, I have a sapphire black E90 330i set up as my "drifting" car.
Where is the GT5 car list? PS3 only, I assume?

God damn! More reason for me to waste my money on a PS3! This is probably one of the three games I can see reason for purchasing one. Other two would probably be Killzone 2 and MGS4. That's it though...

Does anyone know what other video games the newer BMW's are featured in???
I know that the M3 in Forza Motorsport 2 is pretty cool tricked out! But I want to buy more games with the BMW's. |

I played the first two GT like they were going out of style. I don't know what it is about the last 2 (A-Spec and Gt4) that I can only muster myself to get about 40% done and then stop playing altogether. You race for hours upon hours, and get .00000001% completion. I just don't know. I can spend my time completing 3 other games, or still be racing through the corkscrew at Laguna Seca for the one billionth time to earn money to spend on a P1 car, and because I didn't consult the right online or strategy guide, blow all my money on the wrong one, that has no chance of winning any race on the Circuit I'm competing at.
I just don't know what has happened, but I've found the races to be either way too difficult, or way to easy based on the car I'm in, the close finish in Gt games is pretty much gone. You either get dusted, or you lap your 2nd place car, very little of those "neck and neck , it's all down to your exhaust mod on the final straightaway to give your that .0025th second lap advantge to win a hard fought races" that I loved from the first 2. Oh , and the last 2 soundtracks are kinda weak. All that being said, I still will load it up, and rail a BMW throught the 'Ring for pure video racing enjoyement from time to time. I wish I could say I'm eagerly awaiting GT5, but I'm just not at this time. -BMW2006 |

M3s have probably been in many games. The E90 330i is in GT4 with almost every color option! GT5 is going to kick ass though. I'm going to have to leech off some people to play that. Too poor at the moment |

The E92 M3 is supposed to be in the newest Need For Speed game that will be released later this year. Unfortunately, even as a Need For Speed fan who has owned every single version since the first one came out in 1995 for PC, I'm not entirely enthusiastic as the game has become more about tricking out cars and import racer lifestyle than pure simulation that the original and a few others were about (Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed was one of the greatest racer sim games ever released!)
