Question Trading 328i, what is it worth?

Our 335i just came in and we are trading the 328i.

It has the following.

2007 328i (E90)

-Alpine white
-Sport Package
-Leather
-Xenons
-Heated Seats
-Aluminum Trim
-Automatic

It has 11,400 Miles on it and it is in perfect condition... What should we expect to get from the dealer on this trade?

KBB... Then, start negotiation with 2K above whatever number you get from KBB. The site is helpful and easy to use

I just checked KBB.com and there is no BMW listed under the drop down menu for select make for a 2007. I suggest you try cars.com and see what your car is going for.

My guess would be whatever you paid minus about 7k, that's net of the discount on the 335.

KBB isn't realistic with market value, and simply is not representative of how much you'll get for it. Edmunds.com is usually more accurate, even though most dealers use Manheim Auctin Reports to determine values. Just an FYI.

I always think the best way to figure out what your car is worth is to see what equivalent models are actually listed for in your area. The dealer will want to make money when he sells your trade and typically what he offers you will be 10-20 per cent or so lower than equivalent local cars being sold privately.
