How to turn off fan with 1 button push?!
Two situations:
1. Windows down and A/C off 2. Windows up and A/C on Going from 1 to 2 is easy because all I have to do is hit "auto". But, going the other way, 2 to 1 is a little more laborious because the only way I know how to get the A/C to go from "auto" to completely off, is to press the decrease fan speed button 4 or 5 times!!

Have you tried pressing the "A/C" button on the right?
Oops, that only turns off the A/C. Fan stays on. Last edited by bufasion; 08-15-2007 at 05:35 PM.. Reason: Failed to see the title clearly |

Press and hold the fan speed switch on the left side, takes a while but will lower the fan speed all the way to 1 bar, then push again to shut off.

well, i hardly ever have my AC on because it makes shifting a PITFA, but the few times I have had it on full blast and wanted it off quickly, i just press the Max button then the small fan button. 2 presses.

Is it me, or is it those that expect their car to behave differently that makes this an issue? I'm totally satisfied with my cars performance. If I shut down the A/C, will I never want to put it back on because of the tremendous difference in performance that I will experience?

I guess this is a valid question and all, but come on... 4 to 5 times! That must be murder on one's fingers. Just giving you a hard time.
What Suareezay said sounds like it's probably the quickest route. I'm not familiar with it, so I'll give it a shot.

maybe it only affects 335s. Seriously, I've seen these same comments and don't understand them either (of course, I have the usual shifting annoyances that I've gradually learned to deal with, cdv, etc.) |

On a related note, I find that even though I turn my AC completely off, the next time I start my car it turns on the fan to the 1st setting.
Does anyone else have this and/or do they know why it does this? |

Something to do with the settings stored in the key fob?

If you're turning it completely off it should not be on when you start the car. The fob stores temperature preferences and air flow settings, but not "on or off".
