Somebody stole my license plate!

That's right. Leaving work one day, I notice that my rear license plate is gone. What an annoying thing for somebody to do.

Anyways, it gave me an excuse to order a personalized license plate....which i did.

I reported the theft to the police right away and to the 407 ETR (toll highway).

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Has happened to me. However, I have a 11-99 foundation frame.

That's nuts... especially since they only took the rear, and you need both in Ontario.

happened to me on my 2002 M3. They stole the front plate. Reported it to the DMV and got new plates in 2 days.

Yeah, that's a good point. Though I thought that maybe they took it to use on the 407 or something to drive for free.

It's easy to get new plates. You just go to the DMV and they give you new ones right there. But it costs money, and you have to find the time to go there. And you have to get a new plate #, and my last plate number was pretty good.

odd. but i was at my girlfriends one night and woke up to a missing licsense plate in the rear... just ordered another one... waiting for a ticket or something bs to show up bc of it

In Poland it happend often in the past.
People took someones licence plate and went to fill up their tanks without paying single $.
At present it dose not happen very often.

Probably some guys trying to lose the cops. They're probably smuggling cheap drugs accross the border to give to all the medicare people in the US.
