Anyone else think the new Infiniti is gorgeous?
I can't stop looking at the pictures...it's up on their website. Will most likely be my next car Not a fan of the name change from "G37" to "Q50" but I don't really care what they call it.

Looks to be based off of the Altima platform. Looks pretty good, not 100% sold on the design, way better than the new Lexus IS imo. Very curious to see what the coupe will look like.
Hopefully they update the power-plant on this car. The VQ platform is definitely showing it's age.

I like the design overall. Lexus does need to give their engine arsenal some upgrade that 3.5 V6 306hp has been there for quit awhile. It's good but it needs to be upgraded. The Q50 exterior looks to be more of an evolution of the current car. I don't like that grill though. To me, the exterior of the car looks ordinary. As for the interior, I like both the Lexus IS and Infiniti Q50's interior. It looks good. |

OP I agree with you on the Infiniti. It looks fantastic. I'm glad they didn't go too crazy and mess their design language up (like Lexus did with the new IS). This is most likely my next car also.
P.S. I think this is better looking than the new 3 series, IS, A4 and C-class. |

It's not bad looking, but it won't win based on its looks alone.
I'm just sad that it doesn't scream 'G' like the previous generations. Plus that Q50 badge is horrible.

Why are they calling this a Q50 when it's still using the VQ 3.5? Shouldn't it be called a Q35 or, at the very least, Q37 (since they've already established this precedent). The Q used to be their flagship model, this seems like a 3 series competitor...

i like the way the curves slope across the hood into a jaguar-like front end, and how the rear the rear slopes down to give a coupe like profile and the curves on the side look great too. It has so much more design to it compared to the boring F30 and A4. So much sexier haha, guess I'm the only one with this opinion

Fog housings are horrendous and the grille is too big and fishy. Other than that, some of the lines look nice, good to see they have retained the curves from the previous Gs. I wonder what they have done to the interior, the interior on the G37s I test drove before settling on the 135i was CRAP.
Meh.
