Zombie Apocalypse: No M3!

So I've been on a 'Walking Dead' Marathon hahaha.

If there was a Zombie Apocalypse, think about how annoying it would be to take the M3 out to 'run away'.

1. You would need to avoid all potholes and speed bumps while these walkers are chasing after you.

2. You can't run the zombies over with that plastic bumper! that front lip would scratch!

3. Car is loud, the oh so sexy glorified intake and exhaust note, would attract the zombies, especially the car enthusiast ones lol.

4. Gas. We all know we drive a gas guzzler. We can get for 200 miles before fill-up

5. The shitty Zombies will damage the paint! crawling all over your car, is that an individual color? they don't care.

So, fact is, if there was ever one, remember to steal your neighbor's hybrid.

lol. There is a white M3 in one of the episodes sitting on the highway. Doesn't look like the owner made it.

Eff that I would drive the M to the ground in attempts of running away. Then pick up any and all other exotics or sports cars along the way

You have to think outside the box in order to survive a zombie apocalypse.

lmao there's this video of this kid doing a ghost ride drive-thru, it's hilarious.

oh also, for these 'newer model cars' where theres really no turn ignition...

"The Push Start" with the brakes, how the f does that work say, if you pressed stopped while the car was moving, would you need to step on the brakes to start it back up?? if so, def. gotta re-consider.

You want a fuel efficient vehicle that can run over zombies.

I don't know. Let me try it tomorrow during morning rush hour traffic (where everyone pretty much drives like a zombie) and I will report back. If I don't, the zombies got me.

This is my zombie apocalipse vehicle. Runs on diesel, has 500+mile range. Has the ability to go longer with another external tank. its also completely mechanical injection. So it will not be affected my EMP. Being rated 1 ton I had carried 1 pallet of cement (3000lbs) pulled a trailer with 3 more pallets of cement all at the same time. So yeah it can pull a house of its foundation, and go through a brick wall.

btw sadly if theres any apocalypse of any, the M3 gets left behind. Too many things that can go wrong that can get me and the family stranded.

Thats a great photo. Lol.

I think you just have to think mad max and mod a turret gun on the roof and all kinds of james bond anti zombie mods (oil spiller, wheel spikes, etc).

but yeah, I'm so screwed if it ever happens. Living in a big city, and I have the M and the 550.

No it does not have it. One thing I wanted to do was an H1 wheel conversion so it could use H1's run flat and air system.

btw I also have this in the storage unit. Could be a good apocalypse vehicle since it has plenty of room inside, long distance capability. But being what it is, I think it will draw too much attention to others and might be a target.

like it =)

Id do the same if I had the M3 and was out, but if I was at home and had a choice Id run for the SUV. we make sure that one always has a full tank to begin with.

Great thread......however if you diligently follow the zombie apocalypse survival rules as explained in Zombieland (great movie).....the M3 could not only be a great zombie apocalypse car but a fun one too.

I feel bad for the audi guys tho.

They can drive out, but car will probably throw some crazy fault codes for no reason, and then stop.

therefore, audi drivers are first to be eaten.

Sorry to say, but the moment a zombie apocalypse arrives, the first thing I will do (after going and raiding all the bread and milk from the grocery store) is siphon all the gas outta the "M". Then, it gets covered up and hidden very well, so that in the event society comes back--including oil refineries--she'll be back in business. How long would gas stay "good", after there was no more refined? I'm thinking maybe a year, tops. It's time to hunt for a horse farm, folks. 19th century all over again...this time with zombies!
