Limp Mode!!! Possibly due to the Air Temp

So Im driving on the Freeway and right as I enter the 101 - 405 interchange today at 2:30, I get the dreaded half engine symbol (Engine malfunction poswer reduced). I was like "Shit". I immediately looked and my temp guage and it was fine. I was running about 235 and I normally run between 240 - 250. My only thought as to why this happened is because my outside temp gauge read during my commute between 110 - 118(f) Yea, it's freakin hot out today. I wasn't driving it hard, but I did have the AC on if that matters. Anyone know if this happened due to how hot it is outside?

thanks

When you upgrade to PROcede v2.0, hopefully, you won't ever go into limp mode again. Most likely, you didn't reach your boost target, and you went into temporary limp mode. One out of a total of 3x going into into limp mode in 5 months (with PROcede) occurred while I was just cruising on the hwy. @ 75mph in 6th gear (not under hard acceleration and boost); it may have occurred just after I got off boost and didn't reach the boost target (v1.40 at the time). Anyway, it cleared and resolved itself after I turned the car off/on. Shiv has said that PROcede 2.0 eliminates this issue. This limp mode of yours today probably wasn't due to the very hot outside temp, but I guess you may never know.
