Soooo looking forward to the ATS-V. Had a 1st gen CTS-V and even with all its flaws it was a fantastic car. Would be in a new CTS-V now if not for 18-19mpg and a 98 mile daily commute.

Looks awesome.
I think it should sell well looking at how the ATS is doing so far. Have to imagine the V will get an S/C version of the LT1(which has a lot of features that show it being built for boost). They will go full power after the M5, E63, RS6, and XFR just like the last one. |

Looks fantastic. I think this design would look great with a Mercedes grille. It's very Teutonic.

As someone that takes pride in my obsession with studying automotive/transportation design, this thing gives me a design boner. Cadillac is making huge strides in the right direction with this latest iteration of their language.

The dash looks like a Cylon from BSG, or maybe a transformer about to say something, the steering wheel is all out of proportion, and saddle brown, walnut, grey, black and chrome is probably not the color palatte I would have chosen for an interior lol, but I kind of like the mean stance when the car is facing you in pic #4.. but the first pic just looks like a standard caddy with just a bunch of hard edges.
To each their own though. Last edited by inChargeOfIT; 03-26-2013 at 01:50 AM.. |

The exterior is just odd. The front is bold but really not for me. Too many vertical lines which make it seem to narrow and high. The sideview is very plane jane. reminds me of a limo I saw in Korea, I think it was a Hyundai. The rear is typical cadillac which I find ugly. The interior is better although the steering wheel seems to have acne.

Definitely a statement car when you drive it down the road. Nice bold design, but a little to rigid for me....

Looks great! Very aggressive front looks A bit like a Merc E class front end but My only complaint is the shifter.. Could of made it more modern.. Reminds me of the shifters in the 90s cameros ..

Good work on the front, but side is very basic/boring.
Interior looks cozy, too many buttons on the steering wheel, and it seems that AC controls are touch-screen based, a big ergonomic mistake. How does the paddle work ? Is it like a real AT-Manual mode on our BMW (meaning the car will hold gear until redline, if you don't do nothing) or is it a glorified pedal-kick button ? |

Funny you should mention... one of my bosses just "upgraded" to the F10 from the previous gen and has been complaining ever since. Says it handles like a boat. He actually brought it back to the dealer thinking something was wrong with it.

The F30's I've driven feel like more luxurious but softer E90's. The F10 is way too soft. I think there's a huge opportunity for Cadillac, Audi and Jaguar to all grab market share from legacy BMW owners in the next five to ten years if they get their product right. I know BMW sales are up as they soften the brand, but there is still a big opportunity to capture previous customers who liked the sportier era.
