E30 Photoshoot : 1987 325e "Kylie" Swap and Restoration

Hi guys

I'd like to share with you guys some pictures we took this weekend of my personal E30.

Her name is Kylie and she was the culmination of a year and a half of work with Guten Parts + Service in South Orange, NJ.

She started out as a worn out but much loved 325e and eventually grew into the beauty you see here today. She is powered by an S52B30US (3.2L E36 M3 Motor) and has had practically everything replaced and restored.

She has been repainted in her original Alpineweiss II, and got her Euro on with sleeker Euro Bumpers instead of the much maligned Diving Boards we have come to love/hate here in the states.

Yep. Was thinking about doing OBD1 and running an S50 Manifold but decided not to

oh WOW, what a beauty..you truly brought her to life with that E36 M3 engine but those seats...

very nice build and all she needs now IMO is a euro plate for the front!

Alas that is the mileage on the Speedometer which we took from a Donor E30 M3. Mileage on the frame is around 125k with no rust and the engine is at 89K with top end rebuilt just for posterity.

The seats are uber comfy too. Done by Euro Interiors out in CT.

For some reason I can't bring myself to do the Euro plate. I know how popular it is but for some reason It doesn't work for me
