Hi..what's this option called??& is it standard fitment on a e90 335d msport...can it be retro fitted & what's the cost..

The option was called "Extended Lighting".

Isn't he puddle light the one under the door when you open? I think OP is referring to the light that shines from the handle when you unlock the car.

i swear that's at the bottom of the door... the ones in the handles are part of the 'lighting package'

Always known them as courtesy lights, to help you find the door handle when it's dark, sort of puddle light too but they're more for when getting out of the car.

Comes on all SE and Msport models

So 99% of cars have them

If you have a wheelbarrow ES edition like myself you don't get them. Still wonder how i manage to find the door handle in the dark

Put rocket boosters in mine so i can do vertical take offs.

They just look cool, period. Anyone who can't find the door handle (even in a tunnel at night) needs some eyes

The ones under the door are puddle lights.

They are LEDs not bulbs
