After what I feel are two very disappointing trips to our local BMW dealer, I figured it might be best if I try to temper my frustration and possibly readjust my expectations.

In light of that... what do you find to be the average time frame for service and repair work at your local BMW dealer? How do you find the communication... is it pushed or must you pull? Finally, how thorough do you feel as though the dealer has addressed your issue and/or tried to recreate an issue that you have brought to their attention?

Any insight and "color" that you can add would be appreciated! Let's hear what your experiences have been so that hopefully I don't go off the deep end the next time I have to visit the dealer!
