$100 Mil fine for Merc F1...Holy SH#$T
And the loss of all constructor points. That is pretty harsh. I wonder what exact evidence the FIA uncovered. Not that I'm saying it may not be justified. Either way, Merry Christmas Ferrari.

I wonder if the Patriots are paying attention.

If there is one good thing that comes out of this, there will be no team orders from McLaren for both Hamilton and Alonso for this year and next year. Making more interesting races to come.

I think it was good of the FIA to allow Alonso and Hamilton to continue their battle for the driver's title. Not that I wouldn't love to see Heidfeld in 3rd, but I'd rather see the driver's earn the position they finish.
Going back to the FIA's letter stating that anyone who came forward would not be punished; I'm guessing Alonso came forward with the additional info. Why else is he in Belgium focusing on this weekend, while the rest of the team spent the day sweating bullets in Paris.

kinda late for them to turn back the time...I heard they already committed the cheating. The only thing left is to just sit back and see what the commisioner can gather for evidence and hand down a punishment. Sometime all this high techs we come up with hurt us in the end

I'm glad of this, and not only 'cause I'm a Ferrari fan, but for the good of the sport,... cheating is just unfair.

Corporate Espionage is a common activity in any industry. It's just a matter if you are caught or not.

Funny you should say that. Eddie Jordan, former owner of the Jordan Racing Team, once said, "If your team does not have a cheating department you don't belong in F1."
