my car thread

Heres my car as she stands now.

Really enjoying it, brought it about 3 moths ago with 43k miles and havent made 44k yet !
full bmwsh, every tax disc since the car was new is still in the holder on the windscreen!.
The abs hydraulic pump failed and was fixed under warranty, the garage fitted me all new rear brakes for free when it went in for the abs pump, i complained they were looking very tired but i think they did it for good will more than anything because i had only had my car a week when the abs pump failed and then they had it for 3 weeks before i got it back !....currently has a reverse bulb gone but apart from that she's 100 percent.
My first priority is the paintwork, bodywork is flawless but the clear coat has swirling which is spoiling it at the minute, im hoping to remedy this and get the car looking like it deserves too.
Ill post some more pics after a wash showing paintwork and then again
as i work on it.
Hope you like.

well i brought some goodies......not bad they had a special offer on, 3 for the price of 2.

gave the car a wash using the 2 bucket method and my nice new wash mitt.....mmmmmm, sensual !

back inside to dry her off, with a nice new micro fibre towel...

now the work starts, break out the clay .....

ooooh nasty !

claying finished, time for some polish....

1 coat later.....

At this point i retired for the day, i will apply another coat of polish tomorrow and then some ultimate wax to finish.
More blatant 335 picture whoring, cleaning pics coming soon

Good job very nice

I recommend poor boys black hole its a good filler to mask swirls and any imperfections and leaves a nice glaze.

Ps you dont own a black car it owns you

Best colour, the right number of cylinders. Top stuff.

Just get yourself an aero front lip or go for an M sport bumper: As it makes such a massive difference to the car!

I'd also recommend a steering wheel retrim to match the M sport wheel. Jack at Royal Wheels is your man. £110 all in for an M sport wheel in return for yours!
