Start 'em young.
Yesterday my 7 year old son and I were driving around and we always look at and talk about other cars out on the road. We saw a pretty sweet C63 AMG and I asked him if he liked it and he said "No, it doesn't say BMW on it!"
That's my boy! |

He's only 14 and my son's already planned out all the mods for the GT, thanks to him the family really got into modding.

That's awesome! My boy was deeply involved with modding my X5 even helping me install stuff and he's already helping me decide on mods for the M3. Gotta love the gear head gene.

I, purposely, don't have any gaming systems in my house. The kids do have iTouches, but I feel the importance of getting out and being productive in some way far outweighs being an awesome gamer.
I think it's also pretty funny that, whenever we go anywhere as a family in the M and we drop the wife off the first words out of his mouth are" Okay, mom's gone, hit the M button!" He's definitely his fathers child! Last edited by JLed79; 05-23-2013 at 04:17 PM.. |

even though my house is full of gadgets of all type but that only helped the car loving kids and they are now an encyclopedia of cars and can easily recognize every exotic along with specs..something even I can't do..
my eldest son is 11 and he is my co-photographer of exotic cars (we run a facebook page) and fully responsible for taking pictures and videos when I am on the track..so proud of them!

Funny, the C63 AMG was the next car I was looking at when i trade in my 335d.
I mean, its a pretty impressive car.. even though i am a bmw fanatic / owner / worked for the company. And its the opposite with me, I got my DAD into BMW and hes been all about them ever since i've bragged about them over the years (oh, converted my mom too, shes like I WILL NOT DRIVE ANYTHING BUT BMW now) and she was never really a car person. |
