Dyno run of my 328i
So i had an opportunity to do a free dyno last night. Pretty nice to have since they usually cost $100 or so. Plus I haven't seen a 328 dyno yet. My only mod is a Ikon exhaust w/ stock piping. I doubt that puts any power down, so i still consider this a baseline. Just wanted to share for those curious 328 owners.

Nice to see the 328 is underrated as well.
I think thats about what my 2002 330ci put down.

That torque "curve" is flat. Very nice.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I'm not sure if the 19's did anything to the dyno numbers, but I'm sure it does lower my times if i was moving. Still it's not bad for a 328i especially the torque curve being so flat and still pretty close to the rated 200 that BMW claims. I had them shift at 6500 due to the fact that I feel the car runs out of power past that. To me the graph confirms this. It starts to go flat just after 6k. |

I'll let him post it if he wants. His ran really low numbers so i'm not sure if he wants it out. I think it was because the guy didn't put his car in Step and since it was in normal auto mode, it didn't put as nearly as much power down as it should have.

Cool man!
It's nice to see a dyno other than the 335. I love that torque curve--or should I say line.

Thanks for posting those results. I am still trying to find a 4 wheel dyno to run my 328xi. I wanted to see if there was a performance hit with the SULEV motor. Anyone have dyno results for a 328i SULEV?
