T-Mobile or At&t?

I've had verizon for many years now, and im going to switch because Im paying $$... I like the My Faves and The Rollover Min options these companies have, my question is for all you local So Cal people what would u suggest?

Pros & Cons from users please from both companies.....
And do certain phones have shittier reception than others?

Switch is end of Nov..

hmm if u go to UCI definitely get t-mobile. AT&T sucks there. otherwise they're the same. i find AT&T customer service better than t-mobile and they have better phone selection right now.

i recently got t-mobile. i wouldnt do it again. phone sucks, and customer service sucks, and im not getting a super good deal either

honestly when i had AT&T and cingular t-mobile was >>> at&t and >> cingular. now that i switched they flipped on me!!

i have some motorola krzr or something like that

I have AT&T and also have the KRZR. Recently I was thinking of switching but I realized in the future I will get the Iphone and for the most part AT&T has better phones.

Tmobile has limited service compared to Verizon and AT&T so just check if your area is good. If it is then Tmobile seems good they have good plans and such. Only good phone though to me is the Sidekick.

Verizon I really just dislike due to no Sim card and their phones suck. Also they dont allow transfer of songs and such through bluetooth as easily.

My girlfriend has the chocolate and i couldnt send shit to her. So AT&T does suck in some cases but until Google actually goes through with some shit we are screwed.

I was thinking of the Dash or the Pearl as the phones for Tmobile and At&t would be Pearl or Black Jack...

Service seems like its the same for both in heavy used areas for me...

Then go with whatever is the most economical. Probably T-mobile unless you like to do a lot of other things rather than talking.

go with AT&T. wenever i go up to NY/FL, i use them. my sister has T-Mobile and they suck so badly.

AT&T has HSDPA (up to 3.6 megabit downlink) in major metro areas, but T-Mo is stuck at EDGE (~256K) for at least another year. If you're looking at smartphones (And Blackjack is at least UMTS, maybe HSDPA) you'd be a moron to go with T-Mo unless you plan on using WiFi all the time.

I had T-Mo for five or so years before I got sick of waiting for them to roll out 3G service and got a V3xx from AT&T. I'm paying almost exactly the same as I did on T-Mo, but I picked up unlimited data and rollover minutes. My monthly plan minutes went from 1000 to 400, but I usually use under 100 anyway and rollover more than covers the occasional heavy usage.

In their defense the handful of times I've dealt with T-Mo's customer service (including one totally whackjob question that they had to escalate to network engineering or something and call me back the next day) they've been spectacular; both helpful and polite like no other company I've ever dealt with. I haven't yet had to deal with AT&T at all, and so I hope the comparison never comes up.

AT&T has MUCH better coverage nationwide. I've had T-mobile for about 5 years before I switched over to AT&T last year. I actually liked T-mobile customer service better because it was 24/7 and AT&T customer service closes lol, which I think is ridiculous. For the type of phones, I feel like T-mobile always had the cooler phones in the past but I feel like AT&T has better phones now. T-mobile is a lot cheaper especially when they have nice promotions.

I would go with Cingular/AT&T. I use to have Verizon as well and got rid of them because their customer service SUCKS.

I had more issues with verizon(customer service wise) the network was good but their phones blew.

ATT is good customer service wise, they have great phones... and the service is good depending on the area.

sprint/tmo. sucks

I have AT&T with a unity plan and I love it, I can call for free to any bellsouth or cingular phone, since most landlines here are bellsouth I'm not going over my mins + I pay my house phone bill and the cingular bill together
