Map 3.

I installed meth on my F30 a couple months ago and Terry and I sent about a dozen emails back and forth working out bugs. We found some and made a few fixes to the firmware. The most recent firmware over on N54tech is the result and has working meth support.

Progressive meth control is enabled on map 3 for the F30 JB4. The settings should be done just like the meth install guide shows.

OK, not really, I think it's adjustable and will be progressive, but I'm guessing somewhere around 14-15.

Interesting. Did you up the boost? You said you were in map 1 right? Map 7 for Race gas/E85 is 18.5psi and Map 2 is 14. How are you measuring boost?

From the BMS forums regarding Stage 2 of the JB4 for F30 335s:

Map Info

Map 0: Stock performance, JB4 off
Map 1: Peak boost 12.5psi, suitable for stock and mildly modified cars on pump gas
Map 2: Peak boost 14.0psi, suggested for those using a downpipe and 93 octane (USA) or higher fuels
Map 3: Progressive methanol mapping, all BMS FSB meth kits are F10/F30 compatible
Map 4: Stock performance, JB4 on
Map 5: Currently under development
Map 6: User definable map. Suggested for troubleshooting by professionals only.
Map 7: Race gas map. Peak boost 18.5psi. Requires straight race gas or an E85 mix of 50%. If using E85 you also need our FlexFuel connector installed.

I originally drilled and tapped the factory charge pipe. Also the ER charge pipe in in final testing and should be available soon.

If on map 3, your boost will be dependent on what you have the additives set at. Im running 100% M1 at at 45 additive and hit around 18 psi tapering to 14 psi at redline.

How does your setup compare to stock as well as Stage 2 map 2?

I was looking into the JB4 from Burger Motorsports and getting good info from those guys. I saw a comment "No offense....because this has been beaten to death.....but the JB4 has the potential to reduce the life of the engine, turbo, void warranty, etc. So....while it may offer more power....at what cost? I personally don't want to spend 50k+ on a car, only to blow my 20k dollar engine/turbo. To each their own. I suppose if the f30 isn't your daily driver, a JB4 could be a fun toy to dabble with..." and was wondering if there is any truth to this or issues with warranty to date.

Ever since BMS released the stealth kit, Methanol kit sales jumped by at least 50% for us
