BMW performance exhaust question

Quick question for those who bought /installed performance exhaust.

1) the seller did not include the oem clamp, does it matter if I use an aftermarket clamp instead?

2) is it normal that the tips are not balanced? The right side hangs lower than the left side.

3) the exhaust sounds the same compare to my msport oem exhaust...anyone experienced this problem as well

Thanks for helping out!

1) I would just order the OE BMW one, its like $65ish USD
2) They should be level. Can you post a pic?
3) Put it in sport mode and downshift after its warmed up, does it sound the same? Its relatively quiet in comparison with aftermarket exhausts

I hadn't seen and aftermarket clamp that size, but if you found one and it fit I don't see why not.
The exhaust looks level in the pics, but you can adjust by loosening the clamp and turning.

So if the car is not in sport mode the sound is the same as if it has the OEM one?

comfort and eco mode you wont even notice you have performance exhaust on...the fun comes in sport and sport +...I did a 2 hr highway trip yesterday in eco pro and I heard absolutely nothing the entire way(topped at 31mpg) once I got onto the streets I put sport on and it was like a completely different car.

just curious how many miles were on the exhaust....they take 1,200-1,500 miles to break in, but im sure that exhaust is already broken in.
