MPPK w/ AFE Intake

Anyone using the AFE intake with the MPPK? Hoping its not just a whoosh maker. Any results out there and not just from the butt dyno? I haven't seen much info out there. Any input is appreciated, thanks

i was searching around shops yesterday couldn't find a ready one , should order one to get it ... but idk if it helps without a proper tuning for airflow.

We have installed a lot of aFe intakes for different cars, so far everyone has been very happy with performance and sound

Thanks for the feedback, I hear the quality and finish are nice on the afe intake as well. Just don't know if it's better than the MPPK intake or worth the money

wasn't there a thread sometime back where a bunch of people lost power with the aFe intakes?

I think the concensus was an aftermarket intake in the 328 didn't provide any benefit, but a very slight gain on the 335. We'll see what the BMS guys come out with shortly for the 335i.

Right now it looks like the sound is the biggest 'gain' you'll see.

Good point, I forgot about BMS' intake so it's most likely I'll wait to compare
