Nice, especially for a Mustang Dyno as you would likely see closer to 360whp on a Dynojet.

Nice, I was wondering if the DP made much of the gains when you load up map 7 and e85. Guess not...
I just wonder about reliability of the turbo without a DP and running map 7. E85 is like speed apparently (pun intended). |

as of now i do daily on map 7. too lazy to switch maps by connecting laptop up but once terry releases the firmware for steering wheel controls, most likely ill be running map 2 as daily. The current firmware for jb4 stage 2 does have full steering wheel controls but it is able to switch from map 1 to 2 or other way around using volume buttons. Map 7 has to be selected using laptop.

But if you wanted to run map 2 with DP for a bit less stress on the turbo you could do that and still see 330ish whp without E85. (on a dynojet) Last edited by tdizzle; 10-21-2013 at 02:51 PM.. |

How safe is it to run the 50/50 E85, especially on a daily driver? I assume it's mixed with 93 octane?

On race gas maps the downpipes seem to not show much but they do help keeping the power smooth and instant. You will notice a lot more wheel spin. That being said dyno and let's she what she's got.

That should not be the case. It's more of a car to car and dyno to dyno variation.

Thanks for posting this up. I run the same setup as you (50/50 E85 and JB4) but am on Map 2. I've done Map 7 a few times but didn't want to put the stress on the turbo on a day to day basis. Are you planning on dynoing Map 2 and Map 7 back to back to compare? Thanks
