330 wont start. No Codes present after scan
So I decided to take off work and spend 2 days polishing my car. I was going to pull it into the garage yesterday but it wouldn't start. Got out my BT scan tool and scanned. No codes present. The starter cranks but it won't fire. I checked fuel pressure at the rail it was ok(72psi). After running the fuel pump activation, I let the car sit for ~15 minutes and tried to start again. It fired and stalled right away. Anyone have any suggestions before I have to get it towed?

When mine had no crank Let it sit... Probably just my starter going bad but the first time I was getting someone to change it 12 hours later I wanted to see if it started, started right up but your situation little different but thought I should throw that out there lol

check fuses and also do a load test on your battery just in case. How old is your battery?
Keep us posted. |

Battery is 3 weeks old. So i can it one last try before calling a tow truck and I go it started. 2 days of trying and it finally started. Drove it around and did a scan and no codes. Started it a 2nd time when I got home and it fired right up.....

Could be just a bad gas then. I would add some Techron Fuel injector cleaner and add more gas from a different gas station.

Quite possible. I did just fill up at a new Shell station.

About a month ago I went ahead and started my car in the morning and started shaking for about 3 seconds and sounded like a misfire. Has not happened again but I also added the techron fuel injector cleaner. Its all good now, I was thinking it was jsut bad gas...

I had a problem with my car not starting before. It would keep cranking but never fire.
I had to scan it with GT1 which told me the immobilizer had been activated. The only way to get the car to start was with the software and all is well now. Hopefully it isnt the same for you because you'll have to go to the dealer. |
