Hosed on a lease??? Need advice fast!

Sorry,I know I should read up on leases, but I'm picking up my '08 335 coupe in the morning.Price seems high to me.

Purchase price $45,300

Money down including first month payment $1,550

36 month 15k miles

$795 per month.

He said the numbers are fixed by BMW (like the money factor which is high right now) and not determined by the dealer or negotiable. Is this true?

I've bought a zillion business vehicles over the years, but I don't know squat about leasing.

The one thing I have noticed is you can't compare an '07 lease to a '08

What should I do,and what are people paying for current leases?

Thanks

Tell me your MSRP and options and I can give you an estimate of how much profit you are giving the dealer.

Personally, with very little information it looks like it may be a little high (but I can't tell). Are you comfortable with the deal? If you are who cares...enjoy your car.

I'm happy with the purchase price, which I stated. Just curious what the lease payment should be with the numbers I listed. Thanks

BTW,that payment includes tax. Do people include tax in their lease payment when posting on this subject?

I don't mind calculating the numbers for you, but I can't do that without knowing what options you chose. Knowing the options I can calculate the MSRP, invoice, and MF/Acquisition markup. (Using your payment and working backwards)

I don't know all that much about leases, but I've seen ads for 750's for $919. How could a 335 possibly be that much?

Yeah you need to let us know the money factor rate they're using, and you have to ask them for it i think.

Many factors such as :

1. BMW 7 series is getting a facelift by next year.
2. Read the fine print, its a huge amount down, and probably advertised as 24monthslease 10k miles, etc.
3. 7 series is at the end of its cycle, the 3series just started its cycle.
3. Despite the "7-series" still being a BMW, the 335 Beats My Weiner better.

so of that $1500 - 775 is aquisition fee, DMV Fees, Doc Fees, and 1 Sec Deposit. You have no cap cost reduction nor do we know what you month/miles are which will decide your residual - plus the dealer i'm sure marked up your MF.
