Interior question???
So I ordered a 2008 335i coupe jet black with coral red leather on 9/27, now I'm just sitting here and waiting for it to arrive and thinking to my self did I make the right decision going with red interior, now that I see more and more pictures of red interior it looks to me that it's to bright. So I just want to ask people who have coral red interior if the color is too bright or it's just me?
Thanks.

Did you see the coral in person before ordering it? I agree with the others in that I was concerned until I saw it myself. I was also worried because when I told my wife I was considering it she thought it would be over the top but she insists on it now. She doesn't care about CA, or Manual, or PDC, etc., etc., but it WILL have the red.

I'll say it a million times, I personally love the Coral Red. Every person who's ridden in my car said they like it. I admit, none of them were over say 40, well, one lady was 51. I wouldn't like red for the exterior, but I love it for the interior. btw I think Crimson is an awesome color, I saw a E92 335 with it, just not for me.
It's all about taste. This is another one where some claim it lowers the resale value....well, you know what? I'm keeping it forever, so I'm not concerned with resale, and don't believe it anyway.... |

You'll be pleased....the door panels seem to be the same material as the seats, with real stitching. My CA was unsure whether it's real leather or not (on a Porsche = $$$) but it feels the same as the seating material. Maybe they've closed the gap between vinyl and leather (remember the saying "leather seating surfaces"), so I can't tell any difference.
You'll have to keep us posted on how the active steering works. When I did the Ultimate Driving Experience the e90 330's all had it...good luck! |

You will love both it and the compliments that you receive.
I was amazed at how many people loved it enough to stop and mention it. Go Sox Go Pats |

I liked coral red but I knew after a few months I'd get sick of it being so bright and all, but thats just my .02 that why I got black on black can't go wrong with that combo.

Well today I drove down to my local dealership just to take another look at the interior and I loved it, so no more kicking myself on the decision that I made. Now I just can't wait to get my car and drive it.

No regrets at all! Its the very first thing everyone compliments on. At first I thoght everyone was just saying that to be nice so I asked them seriously and they said hands down it makes the interior look better. To put things into perspective, the people who have said this have been people around the age of 18. I know its not gonna get old cuz every time I get in it in the morning its nice to see the contrasting colors. I love it (got alum btw).

lipstick leather belongs on a stripper not a bmw!
i think red interiors cheapen the entire appearance of a fine piece of machinery. the interior color should compliment the overall appearance of the vehicle not distract. in my opinion, saddle brown adds interest, richness and class to this fine automobile.

Seriously, it's like when they look inside all you hear is "wow, I've never seen red like that in a car before" and whatnot. It's really funny actually.
