Considering that this is a BMW board, you might not get an impartial response.

I like the both, but do not want needless problems. Also BMW customer service lately sucks

however...the benz MAY have better service, but perhaps it might be going into the dealer more often down the road....

Mercedes is near the bottom on the reliability scale.

MB's reliability has been notoriously bad in recent years.

On the flip side, BMW is the only manufacturer that still gives you FREE maintenance.

I say E92

Why aren't you also considering the RWD BMW sedan?

Garage List
2016 X1  [0.00]
2008 E92 M3  [0.00]
2005 Ferrari F430  [0.00]
2014 Ferrari F12 Be ...  [10.00]
I had that same decision to make last week but it was between a C350 with Muti Media and P2 option...msrp @ 43,800. It was pretty much loaded.
My other option was a 328i with premium, sports ......msrp 42,050

After putting both through a test drive I picked the bmw because it drove way better that the mercedes. The mercedes was very soft.
It was a tough choice because I think the mercedes offered more for the money. So, to me it depends what you want?.....More luxury ...or More Sport?

I don't think you can go wrong with both ....the mercedes is also a nice ride.

I hope this helps.

If you do decide to go with the mercedes ...I would go with the 268hp c350 for just a little more. I think it about a 2,200 difference. Again, 43,800 for the c350 fully loaded.
