To me I bought it cause it was my dream car... Not to get chicks, not to show some sort of image... Just for me..
Then I find out that people think cause I drive a BMW ,I'm cast as a "type". Now what's your opinion? Why did you get a Bmw? Are judged differently? For me I've never once thought oh now that I got an m3 I can pick up chicks... It's just my baby... And it's just for me to enjoy. And I hope to enjoy it with a great partner some day. |

Saw a Z4 M Coupe and loved the design, couldn't find one, found my roadster in the exact spec I would have bought it new and I was sold. Also my 3000gt was dying and I wanted something newer and more reliable.

The deal was good initially and now I can't stop because the trade-in is best with BMW lol

When I was in high school, I always wanted e46 M3.. I got a job and got a used one.. but it was too old and was going out of commission.. well not really but was begging for costly maintenance. walked into a dealership and bought E92 335i.. I still miss the old M3 but technology and all.. e46 is too old.

Actually, 0 times. Only time it was replaced was when it had the recall, and I wasn't the owner at the time. |

I fell in love with the 335 back in 07 but just couldn't squeeze it in the budget back then. Did some research and went to a dealership last year to test drive one. Salesman tried to argue the abundance of used 328s they had in stock were the same as the 2010 335 I was there to check out. He stated only a professional driver would be able to tell the difference between the two. I took one for a spin while they located the 335. Not only did I notice the difference once I drove both cars I also got an up close look at a few of the M3s they had on the lot. After doing some more research I made up my mind later that weekend about two things. First was to never go back to that dealership, and second was M3 or bust. I have been in automotive bliss ever since. I know I will probably never push this car to its limits but there are times when I pull of a maneuver that makes me go wow how sweet and smooth was that. Its what I would imagine being like Walter Payton or Gale Sayers on the field. Graceful, poised, powerful and in my opinion one of the sexiest packages out there. I hope the next one is even better and the one after that and the one after that. Long live M's!!!!

This.
Bought my bimmer at the age of 19 when my responsibilities were almost zero. Now I'm driving something that's more fuel efficient than that big V8 (I drive a lot for work). It's a fun little car for what it is. I'm just waiting for companies to start kicking out tunes and performance parts for it. |

My first BMW was an E36 M3. Now i'm on my 4th M3 and in a few years i'll have my 5th. I would never own another model BMW. Maybe an X5 variant, but that's about it.
If the M3 had a KIA badge on it i would buy it.
