color selection and resale
I've been enamored with the space gray/grey poplar/saddle brown combo for the 335 coupe for an upcoming purchase. My concern is that this sort of color combo may only appeal to a select group and may make it more difficult to resell the car when the times comes. Do the color choices affect resell value? Any advice, or opinions would be helpful. Thanks.

These cars should have good re-sale even if they were purple.
Statistic show...Silver, black, white as the most popular. Get what you want and don't worry about the re-sale.

If silver, grey, black and white are the most popular colours new then it stands to reason they will be the most popular colours used. It's not like the banana yellow bedroom of a house, which can easily be repainted. Ask a used-car dealer how long an electric blue car sits in his lot compared to a silver one (and how much less he's forced to sell it for).

I would select the metallic "reesale" color when you are building the car on bmwusa.com. After all, you want a color that will suit the needs of the next owner more than yourself.
