Hey have anyone done a DP and JB4 yet? My buddy wanted to do it to his car. It's a an Auto. I personally would go with Dinan when it come out.

We sell a lot of N55 JB4, it does not include dash features for the F30 yet.

I've had JB4 + DP (4" catless) for about 3 months
Works great. Many reviews (including mine) on this board. I am changing to a catted downpipe as the smell is disturbing for me and my passengers. Its an Evolution Raceworks 3" catted unit. I don't expect to notice any performance change, but will post an update once done. EDIT: You can switch between Map 0 (stock) and your preferred map (whichever you chose with the USB cable) using the volume control. It works fine. |

I had a limp mode a month ago or so running Map 2. I was just driving down the road at like 40mph, not pushing it or anything. I got to a red light and car when limp like a 50hp 4 banger. I turned the car off and on and it was fine... You just have to learn to live with stuff like this when you mod...

Read the info on the bms forums for details about the software. In short you plug in you laptop and tell it to start logging while you drive. And yes you can change maps 'on the go' but the laptop has to be connected. Otherwise, you can only turn it off and back to the last used map prior to that. Can't cycle through the maps via the steering wheel, but that's not a huge disappointment I guess. Not sure how often one would need to swap maps and wouldn't have the laptop connected or doing logging anyway.
