So, how cold is it near you? This is crazy. The coldest I've seen in No. VA in the 15 years I've lived here. Global warming my ass!

I don't know man, it's getting into the 30s here. That means people will be dying and shit. Florida isn't prepared for the cold. Power will be out, people will freeze to death, etc...

J/K, but i think i'll break out a jacket tomorrow.

PS. The high was 67 today.

I hear there isn't much left in Tampa but polar bears and a couple penguins. I think we lost Jacksonville earlier today. Not sure we will make it through the night down here in sfla.

I'm from Iowa/Indiana but I'm in Florida now for vacation. Gotta say I can't quite understand why people are wearing jackets in 55 degree weather! They look at me in flip flops and t shirt like I'm some sort of alien.

75 degrees here in San Diego today. Having lived in NYC and CT, I feel for you guys. Hope you stay warm while I turn on the AC in the car haha. Sometimes I forget why I paid such a high premium for real estate but when it's 75 in January, I remember why...

Exclamation

This is some "Day After Tomorrow" shit right here!!! If you never saw that movie, do so now.

It was near 70 this past Saturday here...

Today it was 12! Do the math. That is a epic drop.

Been really warm in SF. I start sweating walking only a couple blocks. Could have worn shorts and t shirt the other day.

In a horrific twist of irony... Global Warming appears to be in fact contributing to this Epic weather phenomena:

i think most of the country was below freezeing for 3 days straight (at least Houston was) back in 2011.....

supposed to get up to 77 by Friday......

With the windchill here, we're only at a -35F (translated it for you Americans). I think the States might be getting it worse, especially if you're not used to it.

Still cold though, I'll say that. I was thinking that a hat or gloves might have been a good idea today as I was outside pumping gas for 4 minutes, ears were a little frozen getting back in the car.

On the flip side, I just ordered some winter boots that are rated to -70C so my feet should be nice and warm this winter walking the dog on the lake and if I go snowmobiling.

I experienced the coldest in VT around -5'F in last week of Dec. Today's temp in NYC is the coldest in 100years 3'F or -16'C. I walked like 4 blocks this morning and felt the pinch of cold on my face. Other than that it is manageable.

Yesterday driving to work I had the top down and to put on the heated seats. But I managed to make the 11 mile drive ok. Was touch and go for a few minutes as I approached Getty Center on the 405 tho

Most of yesterday was -15 to -20F with windchills around -50 to -60 here. It has warmed up to -10 with -35 windchills this morning. I wonder what made me move back to the midwest sometimes.
