So I've been gone three weeks, and out of my mind busy the week before. This means a month has passed and I have spent the last hour and a half trying to read through all the minutia....and didn't cover a quarter of it.
There's just too much, so I am enlisting you help to identify the must read segments in the ever so important lives of the the DC Metro Crew.......who appear to have been very busy!
Tell me or link me to the important stuff and anything else I should know about in short order.

It's good to be back. I hope everyone was good while I was away!

Here are a few quick pics. I can't wait to tell you guys all about it. My trip was great, but the car and the whole experience went far beyond my prior pick-ups. The Welt is way beyond what I expected. I am working on the write up and will direct everyone to it once it is complete. All I can say is, if you love cars and BMWs, then this is something you NEED to do! Before it was a want, now it is a need!

The car should be to PCD just before Christmas for me to pick up.

Nope, it's Monaco. Nice choice on the white. I am going to get the M3 in white. It's pretty sweet. I saw a half dozen of them, The only one I haven't seen yet is Black. When do you get your new one?

It's at the port right now waiting to get on the ship...if it doesn't hit an iceberg on the way here, then it should be here end of this month

Ed, by any chance did you look at the window trim...


i have some sources saying that the 335i now have Brushed Aluminum window trim as opposed to chrome...but then when i saw an 08 last night, he still had chrome????

Nice, I'm a big fan of AW. I am sure at some point as I am washing the car for the third time in the same week, I will wish I had gotten AW.

It is probably going to take me a week to get to it. I got started on it during the trip, but we had a battery failure and the laptop became a useless brick to haul around the rest of the trip. I am working on it though and will let you guys know once I get it out there.

I am very happy with the color, only concern is the cleaning.....especially with winter coming. I am installing a Hot and Cold faucet out on my driveway so that I can at least wash in the semi cold weather without freezing me huevos off!

I didn't notice it being brushed, but that doesn't mean it wasn't. None of my pictures have any sparkle to them on the trim except the grill. It could be that they are now lightly brushed, but I can't say for sure.

Frank, I wish I did. I failed to get to Maranello due to a massive, and I mean massive, traffic jamb. I was heart-broken since this was one of the few things I was going to do for me instead of the group. I'll tell you more later. I plan to order some stuff for me (as a consolation, according to my wife) this week. I will pay the freight and lump it with my order if you see something you like. It's the same price and they have everything the store has, it's just not he same buying it over the Internet.

BK, I will not stop till I have gotten everyone in DC metro to go and do ED. It was great, but now it is astounding! I know how much you love cars, and this is the place to be as well as the way to do it. I will have more later, but it is going to take some time to get it all out one paper. BMW went way out of their way to create an experience and I absolutely feel they succeeded!

Thanks, it's good to be back. I'm not in the right frame of mind yet to start thinking about going out. Three weeks of non stop drinking and eating have landed me back in the gym until I shed the extra 9 lbs I gained and feel more like a human again. It was a great time. I can't wait to get everyone motivated to go do ED. It was very impressive now that the Welt is open.
