Any e93 quarter mile or 0-60 times?
I have searched and didn't come up with anything but thought I would ask anyway. Curious as to how much of a penalty the extra 400 pounds are.

Whys it matter really? You can put the top down and just cruise. Isnt that why you bought the car in the first place?

it's about bragging right. So when vfour is comparing his automotive penis with the guy next to him at the light, he'll have a really really big automotive dick.

Please note that the e93 335ì is slower than the e92 335ì to 60 by 0.3. secs. These are official data, confirmed by several road tests of the most reputable Italian car magazines. However apparently if you tune the car, the gap becomes smaller, as traction becomes the issue over weight and the roof, once folded, increases weight on the back wheels and traction (I am referring to 0-60 accel., then drag becomes an issue). This is confirmed by Alpina: the b3 e93 convertible is only 0.2 slower than the B3 e92, and it has 360 crank hp. With an heavy tune, like 400 rwhp (see the most recent Vishnu announcement) the gap between the 2 models may be as little as 0.1 sec, so that you will be allowed to enjoy both the straight line performance of an e92 and the pleasure of cruising open topped. If you go to a racetrack, however, do not expect to keep the pace of a e92 with your same power....

Motorweek's testing from the 5/27/2007 show indicated that the additional 400lb. of weight from the top only reduced 0-60MPH time by 1/10 of a second compared with the E92. According to their tests: 0-60 in 5.4 seconds 1/4 mile in 14 seconds at 105MPH 60-0 in 117ft.

Technically...I'd much rather have a hardtop convert and lose .3 seconds to 60, but I do have a convert!!! I would get it if I had the money..too bad i cant afford it. (yet)!
