New owner reporting in!
Hello all!
Wanted to stop in and say hi. I purchased a CPO 2011 335i xDrive about a month ago and have been enjoying the car and these forums ever since! Already performed the "golf tee" mod hehe! Averaging 1-10 degrees here in Wisconsin and looking like a lunatic driving with my windows partially down whenever possible. She has 50k miles on the odo but I don't judge and she's got the sport, cold weather, nav, and H/K packages. Precious vehicles are an 07 RDX w/tech that I kept from new till 28,00p, and '07 g35x sedan I had from 42-85,000, an '09 Saab 9-3 Aero from 21-29k (drunk hit it on way to car wash before going down town) and a 2012 Lexus Ct200h i had from 7,200 to 15,600 miles. Not sure what I was thinking either, obviously that didn't work out 😅 ! Trying to decide what mods to do, have never had I vehicle I really felt like modding! Attached should be some pictures from throughout the last month or so! In the last photo, which car doesn't belong? Lol Looking forward to participating in the forums here. I think the next steps are switching from the dark wood interior to aluminum and getting a walnut blasting once spring comes. Then performance exhaust, upgraded charge pipe, and an OEM Performance exhaust. All the best, StogieScotch |

Get some real winter tires instead of those "all-seasons" if you're going to be driving through snow like that!
Glad you like the car! Out of curiosity, why are you driving with your windows partially down???

As for the snow tires, definitely planning to for next winter. My fiancé has been commuting from milwaukee to madison and back each work day this winter so bought her new rims and snow tires for her golf tdi, so thats where those funds went. I'm thinking of throwing some blizzaks on the stock rims for snow season and pick out some nicer looking (imo) 18" or 19" rims to throw some sticky summer tires on once the weather clears up. |
