De coke/de carbonise
I've had my 335d remapped, dpf removed (I may put it back on) and EGR shut off.
I hear about the intake manifold etc getting coked up with carbon, will this eventually clear over time due the mods I've done or can I spray carb cleaner into the Egr whilst the car is running to help clear. Not sure about things as was told it would clear in time and others said it wouldn't. Cheers |

it wont really clear over time, best method for clearing it out would be running meth injection.
cheapest option would be taking the manifold off and getting your pipe cleaners out |

Take egr valve off and clean it out,
Also try take inlet manifold off and clean it out. Don't do the spray thing it wont work! Tooth brush and carb cleaner with removed parts is your friend |

The stuff you get in there is like tar.
Exhaust soot and oil mixture. Its horrible. Overtime it may clear itself ever so slightly but the 'tar' is that sticky it will never budge complete. You need a full cleanout |
