So who's going back to summer tyres?

Down South it doesn't look like we'll be getting snow now and temperatures are quite mild so I'm thinking of putting the summer wheels and tyres back on (I also much prefer the look of 19's to 17's!)... Good idea or not? Anyone else feel the same?

I traded my e90 in with my winter wheels and tyres on it, forgot all about them in all honesty. Gonna have to get myself some winter tyres for my spare set of MV3's for next winter now.

Bit too early to be saying it doesn't look like we're going to be having any snow though, expect the unexpected with UK weather

The winter tyres are coming off threads have been going for months now.

We did have some snow fall in Scotland last night. Nothing worth worrying about though.

Such a bizarre winter. Snow probably would have been nicer than all those folk getting flooded out.

Mine are staying on the spreaders are still occasionally knocking around so I rather the salt chew the paint on my winters rather than my summer wheels.

At least another month on winters for me, temps still not getting above 7deg and a shitload of snow last night. I'd have been stuck without winters.

Some serious potholes on roads I use, wish i had my smaller winters I had previously as protection.

Been on winters for about two months now.Specifically for a trip up to Scotland-was cold, but never actually needed them.
Going to swap over in the next couple of days as I have had a set of new M359 1M's lying around for a few months now!

Only put mine on a few weeks ago as we had a few days of snow. Will keep them on for a while yet, I drive to work at 4.30am and I still get the frost warning most days

My winter set up saves me cash and gives me extra grip when it's cool, so I will keep them on for a while yet. Also we had snow at the end of March last year so winter isn't over yet

Thanks! I know if I didn't purchase them then I probably would have already had snow by now! It's so hard to tell with our unpredictable weather but I'll give it a few weeks and see what it looks like then!

Not until sometime in March as we still get bad weather then. I must admit my winter tyres have been fantastic in this wet weather and I really don't want to put my old RFT back on. However I might just get them back on and use the tread up prior to replacing them with non RFT's

Just sealing up my summers with Gyeon Rim coating, they should be back on at the end of this month.

I never bothered to put them on this year ... and have now agreed to sell my 330d - so the winters have been up for sale in the classifieds for a month !

My summers went back on about a month ago. Temp was regularly 9 degrees so not benefiting from winters when it's that mild.

If a prolonged cold spell is forecast then I will pop the winters back on.
