piano black - time to go?

Pretty much sick of my piano black trim now on my e90, it never stays clean more than a day and whatever I use to clean it scratches it to hell.

Makes the interior of my car look constantly dirty. Time for a change me thinks..

Any suggestions on alternative trim would be great, would sell the piano trim to fund this venture.

many thanks

Interesting...
I really want to switch to the Piano Black trim.
Just about to pull the trigger on some Wrap to try and DIY it.

I only have the Silver Trim. (Not actual alu)

Wonder if the Black Wrap suffers the same as the real deal.

The wrap doesnt scratch as easily bit the finish is not as great as the true piano blk. Cleaning of the piano blk id imagine would need a lubricating cleaner like a good qd and then a filling glaze to help prevent and hide scratches.
I'll be painting my trim gloss blk in the summer so will have this cleaning issue

I have dark wood in mine I'm not keen at all, I'm wanting to wrap it in Cf but that's the last job I do inside.
If anyone wraps in Cf and finds some decent wrap will you post up a link

You shouldnt have any issues if you have a good microfibre
A quick, soft wipe to get rid of dust is fine.

If it is dirty with finger prints, then a blow of your breath and a soft wipe is enough too.

Once a month i use some QD and microfibre and it comes up amazing!

CF wrap looks the dogs bollocks

Changes the entire feel of the interior
Did mine about 6 months ago, about half a days job
Still looks as good as new

Is it genuine piano black tho.... has it got a silver line going across? If not, it's the glossy black plastic - this is nasty!

PB is by far the best trim!
