So far, mods are -Black Painted, Cf style roof. -Black Grills -19" BBs reps, with 9.5 offsets -Red/Gold BBs badges The car is currently at the garage in the process of a dpf removal, delete and a remap. Front black splitters and a rear performance spoiler are both on the way aswell. So stay tuned. Last edited by mistikempire; 03-09-2014 at 08:18 PM.. Reason: wrong title |

Right guys, so heres the latest
Had my car remapped and dpf removed and deleted, an additional K & N filter an all I have to say is WOW, this car now flys! Having reached to 340hp an over 500 torque she is a beast! (Will put up the dyno results tomorow) Anyway in the mean time, still waiting for the performance spoiler an splitters to arrive so i thaught i would keep myself busy an do something iv wanted to do for a long time, which is paint the engine cover, which took up my day as there was quite allot to do. |

Ah okay cool, mine was remapped by ecotune i had a terraclean (doesnt do a lot) and a DPF delete.
Just... Mine was 260BHP beforehand but had a little problem with small turbo and failed pressure converter/possibly vac lines, it was remapped and wouldn't make more than 330BHP, after the pressure converter was replaced and vac lines it made bang on 350BHP and 522 lb ft. Apparently though most make around 370BHP and he's had a few in. If the intake manifold get cokes up and inlet valves that can drop power too. I've bought air scoops for mine and will see if there is any small leaks around the IC etc and get the intake manifold cleaned and inlet valves and swirl flaps removed. Swirls flap removals contary to popular belief dont make a lot of power likely 5BHP tops. It should possibly make nearer 370BHP. He said its as if it isnt getting enough 'air'. Just letting you know you may not be getting all your potential power. I like my car in tip top condition so extra generally equals better running and better MPG too. I plan to get this done and dyno it again. Cheers Last edited by Ajs_435d; 02-28-2014 at 04:22 PM.. |

Yep your right there mate it can reach higher an get to 370, however the person who done the remap advised me that going more an more could eventually cause a problem to a certain part (Forgotten the name) but its located in the front of the engine at the bottom near the radiator/intercooler, a silver looking box.
Scopes should be good buddy, let me know how it goes, seen some good ones cyba was intrested in that myself along with a good intercooler (Still deciding) Sorry to hear about your car too, hopefully everything is all good an well an she is running well now, I had the same issues, with turbo, gearbox changed, glow plugs etc. Pain in the ass, but like you, i like my car to be perfect an error free. |
