Is Mercedes going to win this generation?
As more and more details begin to leak-out about the upcoming AMG C63, can it be argued that Mercedes-Benz has never been stronger than they are right now? The following interview with Tobias Moers, the head of AMG, reveals a passion for cars that is not matched by ANYONE, anywhere at BMW. Does BMW even care any longer? Just follow the tone of this interview:
Quote:
AMG is stuffing fire-breathing Twin Turbo 4-liter V8s into their cars. BMW is penny-pinching and using what they can off the assembly line. AMG is concerned about performance first and efficiency second. BMW is focused on fuel economy and luxury. Has the world tilted upside down? |

I have to admit... When I was looking for a car.. it was between the C350 Sport and the 335i... If they only had manuals and a good race program.... I would have gone with a Merc..... (I love the way the C350 looks)

Until Merc makes a manual gearbox option again, I refuse.
They do have some nice cars though. And those AMG engines are like friggin nukes.
