mods worth doing, although pricey make the car fun
- 3 stage manifold if you dont already have one
-AA tune/or something comparable
-performance exhaust
-eurobox or the performance intake--> id also put the simota intake in here as well.

Just either get a eurobox or a performance intake. Quality products.

The "most gain" I think was the AFE sealed intake...but at that rate Id just go with the eurobox, delete the charcoal filter and call it a day

You can get a used eurobox for pretty cheap

Wait why wouldn't you choose the AFE over the Eurobox? Say money is not a factor.

Off-topic. But what brand are the 359 reps you have on and where did you get them?

For this item I'd rather go OEM. Ease of installation/cleaning the air filter. Not to mention for the small gains both make, you can always add the euro performance intake ontop of the eurobox to get even more gains. Im just not a fan of the AFE intake. A lot of people said they didn't like it, some people swear by it; it's a matter or preference. However, for me, I try to go OEM with things like this.

I'm not really sure to be honest. They were on the car so I'm assuming they are bmw stock. But I could be wrong, they have the bmw logo In the middle and say m3 on them, we'll the m3 logo

The AFE si makes the most power, but I didn't test the Eurobox.

IF it were me, I would get the AFE, otherwise a Dinan modified box would more than likely be comparable. Don't spend money on the Open intakes (unless you like the sound) and the BMW performance intake is beyond overpriced.

I'm torn between the afe si and the eurobox with pipe cross filter. Which one would you choose? I really don't want to lose power either, I heard some stories of afe guys losing some horses-- is this true?

The AFE SI made the most power on the dyno of the 3 different intakes I tested. I don't expect the Eurobox to make more power - I would go with whichever is cheaper though.
