Carmax, Nico etc for 08 335i appraisal

Looking for suggestions for places where I can get an appraisal for an 08 335i with 76k.

I know about Carmax but just learned about Nico today? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What condition was your car in? Mileage? Options?

What was there offer? And when did you go in?

Yeah, and once you get lowballed by an ignorant "evaluator", you are in the system and can never get a higher value

I had an 08 with like 60k miles in mint condition with new tires and no cosmetic issues, etc

Had sports package, heated seats, black leather, and other options.

They both offered me around 10-12 k, traded in for 18k on my M3

Were you able to negotiate their ask price for the m3 as well?

10-12k wow! you can't even get a clean 06 330i for that much, let alone a nicely optioned car.

yeah, selling car sucks. I have three i need to sell.

i was going to use Nico once, but after reading this i just wanted to be safe:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/...nico-buys-cars

i am sure there is another side to the story. but when selling a car i only need one side. Sell it and be done with it.

That's surprising. I guess I got a good appraiser b/c carmax in laurel gave me a fair deal on my 08 335i trade in, which was right around kbb value.

Of course, who pays retail? Was able to get a good enough deal on the M3 that i could have sold for a profit leaving the lot

I am going through the same issue. Which BMW dealer offered you 18k for your car?
