Sad. More so since he leaves a 1 year old baby.

I was born in DC and being a Redskin fan was just a part of growing up in my family. Sundays consisted of Mom's steak and eggs, The Post, and The Skins. It's something that Washingtonians and fans all over the world look forward to in the fall each year. Sean Taylor to me was an inspiration to watch. You could see it in the defense. It had a bit of swagger with Taylor covering the endzone. You could see the fear inspired in the opposing offense as well.
It is a tragedy how he passed, with a daughter, a fiancee, and friends and family left behind. The Redskins whether you love em like me, or hate em like a Cowboys fan, are a part of our lives. We lost a member of our community. It feels like I lost a distant relative. I found this excerpt from The Post pretty cool: "Joe [Gibbs] reports that Eagles fans at PE.com [Philadelphia Eagles] have set up threads dedicated to Sean and he says Cowboyszone.com actually changed the colors on their site to burgundy and gold and that heartfelt messages from Cowboys fans have been overflowing. That's pretty cool to hear." This weekend the NFL will remember Sean with a moment of silence before every game, and every player will have the #21 on their helmet. I ask that anyone who cares to read this to take a few moments to remember Sean Taylor and wish the family he left behind well. Thank you and Hail to the Redskins.

I still can't believe this had happened. I feel like I lost something and don't know what it is. It is going to be hard wearing the #21 jersey I often do during game time this weekend knowing that Sean won't be playing ever again.

Did they find any suspects or have a motive in the shooting rather than just a random break in? Haven't been watching T.V lately

Wow, you really havent been watching TV b/c that's all that seems to be on now. No suspects yet, and I doubt this person would ever be caught.

Spool,
This is homicide case now and current speculation is that it is not a random act but either his home or sean himself was targeted. This is purely speculation base on evidents so far gathered, according to some of the media outlets I have been following. |

man that is sad.
My grandfather played for the Skins for a bit back in the day. I grew up w/ my dad watching every Skins game no matter their record. Sunday was his day...don't bother him. As a result I'm also a skins fan. So sad......
