Interesting message from BMW Phone Tracking

So I just called the toll free number listed for checking on production status. According to BMW OC it said my car was scheduled for production, but after calling the number and giving my production number, it told me it was already done and awaiting transport. My dealer originally told me that the car was scheduled to be produced in the 2nd week of December. I saw that the BMW OC may lag a few days, but a few weeks? Has this happened to anyone else, because my hopes of getting this car by christmas week have just shot through the roof lol.

no, its about right, the OC lag about a week, and thats about how long it takes to make the car. your lucky your production date got shoved up tho.

Your dealer probably pushed your order ahead of time and changed one of their allocation slots to your order. Anyhow, seems like you will be getting an early Christmas present!

I got the same thing yesterday...my car's done with production and awaiting carrier transport or something like that, according to the phone line.

Nice, checked this morning and it told me it was being transported to the port of exit. Waiting is a B isn't it nmcampbell? lol
