yup i had this problem!

basically, pull the springs off the plastic piece which goes on the actual washer jet... then you twist the big end of the spring into the holes in the washer cover... use your finger nail to separate the last coil of the spring and twist it in....

then after just clip the springs back into the plastic piece and then clip that onto the washer jet.... (i found it helped to use pliers to stop the washer going back in while i clipped the cover into place)....

hope i helped!

oh wait, just read the washer cover still has the springs on it? in that case just pull out the washer jet with you hand and pull off the clip... then just clip it onto the springs
