I’m not 100% sure if the cubby is exactly the same as my G82. I’m sure UK Amazon has the same great return policy though!

01/23/2025 - Install KW HAS, Millway Motorsport Uniball Camber Plates, , 15mm Spacers, SPL Bump Steer Adjustable Tie Rod Ends, Unit17 OEM++ Spoiler
My original plan was to stay stock until after break-in, but I just couldn't resist coming out of 4x4 mode. I gathered the parts from my old G82, and made sure I wasn't missing anything: KW-HAS Millway Motorsport Uniball Camber Plates 15mm Spacers I had run 15mm spacers in the G82 and if the M2 shares so many parts with the M4, then these spacers should do just fine! I lost the tire lottery with the Pirelli's, but they are the smaller tire compared to the MPS4S, so there should be no rubbing. I'll have to solve that problem when my track tires (CUP2) get mounted, but that's a problem for another day, and I think I have a solution. I also decided to go ahead and add the SPL Bump Steer Adjustable Tie Rod Ends. The G82 M4 always suffered a bit of bump steer and I always wished I had gotten these, but just never got the chance. These will eliminate the shimmy over road undulations and increase stability. I also wanted to swap out the tiny OEM spoiler. I debated on the Turner Carbon Fiber High-Rise Spoiler & Adjustable Gurney Flap, which doesn't require drilling, a huge plus for me! I loved the M Performance Carbon Fiber Through-Flow Rear Spoiler that I had port installed in the G82. To me, it really complimented the M4 and I wanted something similarly aggressive for the M2. Ultimately, I went with the Unit17 OEM++ Custom Rear Spoiler. It is very similar to the OEM M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler, but extends out all the way to the end of the trunk lid left and right corners. I interpret the Unit17 spoiler as continuing the body lines from the rear fenders, while the OEM spoiler continues the body line of the trunk. The Unit17 appears to be a little higher too, which overall makes it a bit more aggressive in my eyes. Luckily, the Unit17 spoiler arrived just in time for my install day at EAS. I debated working from the EAS office from my laptop, but since my wife was free, we went to breakfast, then came home and worked while I waited impatiently for the call that the car was complete. 4 hours later, it was ready, and I eagerly headed back to EAS. With everything installed, I was extremely happy with the look! It was definitely the OEM++ look I am going for! As soon as I pulled away, however, I realized that the alignment was a complete nightmare. The car, admittedly, drove like complete garbage and I kept saying to myself "I just destroyed the handling of this car". I suspected the front were extremely toe out, as the steering was vague, dart-y, and the car hated going straight. I had to get back to my home office, however, so I could finish work, so that's a problem I had to address over the weekend.

Very cool, looks good. Do you initially drive the standard wheelset with CUP2*? I also have the Pirelli tires, I think they are not as solid for the track as the PS4S.

Yes the OEM G82 wheels are forged so I didn't really feel like swapping them out. I'm contemplating Apex vs-5rs, but I won't make that decision until after some track time.

yes, the same here. I'm still torn between CUP 2 or Nankang CRS, but for now both on the OEM rim. Can you already drive with the Pirelli tires? Can you handle a track day?

I think I'll do my first track day with the Pirelli, just to see what BMW sold me!

It was great - so sad to see it go. Especially great if you came out of the infield in good shape and really got up to speed down the main straight. While I didn't get to take the M2 there I at least experienced it in the Mustang. RIP indeed.

Great pics. ACS at the crack of dawn - always a good thing. I did it in this little buggy and went from Wrightwood to La Canada with no one in front of me the entire time.
