Likelihood of G87 xDrive releasing?

Hello all, I’m a relatively new owner of my M240i xDrive which I purchased couple of months back.
I’m wondering what the chances are BMW will release a M2 xDrive in the future?? When buying my car there was an identical spec M2 at my dealer but I went with the xDrive because it’s a must have for me.
I know there’s always the G80/G82 xDrive but I love the body of the M240/M2, so I’m hoping this happens!

Only time will tell. By the time we find out, getting an allocation will be even more fun... !

I just did my first little mini drift in this car and I have to say, I’d have no interest in an XDrive version.

This thing’s WAY too fun the way it is.

I’d take the penalty of more weight and disconnect on front axle due to the drive shafts.

I know it’ll never happen.
You never know though & it just might.

Why wait for BMW to make an xDrive G87 when you can build your own?

Obviously we know it makes no sense for most G87 M2 owners to convert their car to xDrive for cost, warranty etc.

But, we've decided to xDrive swap our Papaya Orange G87 M2 in preparation for a single turbo 1400 whp+ big power build.

There are so many rumours online about BMW potentially launching a G87 xDrive in the form of the M2 CS or otherwise but we're hoping to beat them to the punch.

You can watch the first part of the conversion here:
